On-device

An AI model is downloaded once to your browser and runs there via WebAssembly. Your image is never transmitted anywhere.

No accounts

No sign-up, no email, no tracking cookies tied to your identity. Open the tab, drop a photo, done.

Actually free

No daily limits, no watermark, no upsell blocking your download. Full-resolution PNG, every time.

How can this be free if my image isn't sent to a server?

The AI model itself is loaded once from a public CDN (that's the only network request involved). After that, the actual background removal happens on your device's own processor — there's no per-image server cost for us to cover, which is exactly why it can stay free.

Is it really as accurate as server-based tools?

For most everyday photos — portraits, product shots, objects — yes. Extremely complex edges (fine hair, motion blur, glass) can be trickier for any background remover, on-device or cloud-based.

What happens to my image after I close the tab?

Nothing, because it was never stored anywhere to begin with. Everything lives in your browser's memory for the duration of the session and disappears when you navigate away.
